Join us in kicking off 2015 with a culinary bang.
Cayman Cookout is back with a better-than-ever lineup of food and drink, hosted by the great Eric Ripert at The Ritz. The Brasserie will be representing island-style cooking at two exciting events on Friday January 16th and Saturday, January 17th. On Friday, our very own Dean Max will be demonstrating Brasserie technique with local ingredients in the company of Anthony Bourdain. This will be followed by a very special beachfront cooking class led by Chef Dean, and accompanied by Joel Walton with his fabulous produce, which will take place Saturday afternoon. Sink you toes in the sand as you sip rum from local, fresh-chopped green coconuts and enjoy the view. Purchase tickets here.
Cookout Dinner at The Brasserie
On Saturday, January 17th Chef Dean Max and Chef Jeremy Ford (of Jean George’s new restaurant, Matador Room, Miami Beach) team up to create a one-of-a-kind tasting menu, inspired by sustainable and seasonal ingredients of the Cayman Islands. January 15th marks the first Harvest Dinner of 2015. With the Christmas breeze having officially settled in during December, it’s the perfect time of year to sit outside and enjoy a generous family-style supper under the moonlight in our organic garden.
