We are beyond ecstatic for our very own Assistant Manager, Andrew Cutting, as he recently passed the Court of Master Sommeliers Introductory Course Exam, which is the first of four levels to becoming a Master Sommelier. After completion, Andrew will possess remarkable tasting and evaluation skills, wine knowledge and exceptional abilities in service and beverage management. The Court of Master Sommeliers is the premier international examining body and ranked one of the most prestigious of the certifying bodies.

Before coming to the Brasserie, Andrew Cutting graduated from Culinary School in Grand Rapids, MI, then Michigan State’s Hospitality School. He has been with the Brasserie for three years and we’re sure Andrew is going to do great things! We look forward to Andrew sharing his knowledge of fine wines, artisanal spirits and craft beers through the Brasserie Purveyors.

Be sure to look for him in the the Restaurant and Market to give him a big congratulations!
